This Monday, August 3, 2009, I saw Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical fame, posing for pictures with fans at Lexington and Gramercy Park North in NYC. She looked very chic in her outfit of short shorts and high heels and a fedora hat. Apparently, she was promoting her upcoming movie, Bandslam. On Tuesday, July 28, 2009, I met centerfielder, Carlos Beltran of the New York Mets at a Toys-R-Us store in Douglaston, NY. He is a really nice guy, down to earth and he even shook my hand. I asked him about his injured knee. He said it is getting better and he’ll be back soon. That’s pretty cool because with all of the injuries that the Mets have, they need him! The next day or so, I read in the paper that he is back in the batting cage. Go Carlos!
